Grant Farr

Grant Farr is a professor emeritus at Portland State University.  He has lived and worked in Afghanistan for many years and in several capacities, including the Peace Corps in the 1960s. He was also a professor at an Iranian University in Shiraz in the 1970s and was a Senior Fulbright scholar at the University of Peshawar in 1985.  He has published two books on Iran and several articles on Afghanistan. He is presently writing a book on what went wrong with the American involvement in Afghanistan. He speaks Persian, albeit, with an Iranian accent.
